AT&T Cancels All Galaxy Fold Preorders, Issues $100 Promo Card
Will ATT have the Galaxy fold?
Only AT&T will carry the Galaxy Fold. If you are on
another carrier, like T-Mobile, you can still buy and use the unlocked version
of the Fold from Best Buy or one of the Samsung Experience stores.
The Fold was originally slated to launch in April when
reviewers started experiencing problems with the screen. Some had debris under
the screen, others peeled off a protective layer that wasn't meant to be
removed. It was a less than ideal situation for a highly anticipated phone that
costs nearly $2,000.

Back in April, when there was more optimism surrounding the
Galaxy Fold, AT&T has sent out letters to customers who pre-ordered the
device, telling them the phone will ship by June 13. Then, at the end of May,
BestBuy canceled all Galaxy Fold pre-orders, while new reports suggested that
the foldable smartphone will be delayed once again. When Samsung promised, at
the beginning of last month, that it will announce the new launch date, nobody
anticipated that there will be a rather long period of silence on the matter. How to quick fix at&t bill pay number & at&t activation.

$1,980 Galaxy Fold, informing them that their foldable phone order has been

orders again once Samsung sets a new launch date.
The Galaxy Fold was supposed to hit stores nearly 2 months
ago when Samsung ran into unexpected problems with the handset. Early reviewers
identified two different methods to damage the screen. One of them was caused by
user error — as some folks removed a movie with exposed edges from the display,
mistakenly thinking it was a standard screen protector. It wasn’t. The other
problem was the large gaps near the hinges in the center of the phone. Dirt and
debris would work its way into those gaps after just a few days and break the
phone’s screen.
Samsung was fast to postpone the release and recall all
review models so it could investigate and fix the problems. It still appears set
to launch the phone, which turned out to be an unexpected source of
embarrassment for an organization that wants to be at the forefront of mobile
innovation.
